Research shows chiropractic lowers blood pressure
Nov 11 2008 2:24AM by Robert McClelalnd
A recent study medically backed showed a drop of 7 points average after a specific adjustment in the upper cervical spine. This is better result than if you were to take 2 blood pressure pills. This has undoubtedly baffled the medical profession.

The founding fathers of chiropractic discovered this and the profession has known this for more than 100 years. The nerves that exit the spine in the upper cervical spine regulate blood pressure. It makes sense that if you have nerve pressure in your upper neck that it will effect many things, including your heart.

I think this is a breakthrough of sorts to finally be getting some support from the medical profesion.

Make sure to open the video posted below...it is a copy of ABC news' coverage of the story.

Have a healthy day!

Chiropractic isn't just for pain
Nov 5 2008 10:31PM by Robert McClelalnd
I've recently discovered an interesting phenomenon in my office. Pain is the main reason people find our office. However this is a very poor judge of health.

In fact, studies show that it's a very unreliable indicator of health. It makes sense: Just because you don't have pain doesn't mean your healthy.

Take this example:

Many people who have heart attacks will tell you they had no idea they had high cholesterol. This is exactly why many doctors insist on testing for blood pressure and doing blood chemistry. Symptoms often don't present themselves until it's too late.

Next time you think of Chiropractic, don't just think of pain. Think of prevention. Get checked for problems BEFORE your symptoms appear.
